Haiti : Reflections by Daniel Kedar
$95.95
Eight years ago when Daniel Kedar first came to haiti, he was struck by the blue sky, the warm weather, the smiling Haitians and the luscious colors. Like many before him he fell under the spell of this enchanting island. There are few recent photographic essays on Haiti, and most of these stress the bizarre and violent aspect of the country. They do not reflect what he saw, and so he decided to take pictures himself. He quoted “To capture the magic of Haiti on film is not an easy task; too many images emerge before the eye as one moves about the island”. In this book he tried to freeze a few of these impressions.
